About Us

The Gloucester County Police Awards Committee was established in 1980. The purpose of the committee is to honor civilians, officers singlely, a unit, group, or operation, for various acts bringing acclain to themselves or police profession.

The committee is comprised of members from Gloucester County Chief of Police Association, Police Benevelent Association and Fraternal Order of Police. They represent the 24 law enforcement organizations in Gloucester County.

Awards are received and voted upon by a committee, comprised of Police Officers, Sergeants, Lieutentants, Detectives, Chief’s based on extensive review of police reports, newspaper articles and recommendations forwarded for this review.
